Do I need to book an appointment in advance?
Yes, we highly recommend booking your appointment in advance to secure your preferred date and time. Our schedule can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and during holidays. Booking ahead allows us to provide you with the best possible service and ensure enough time is reserved for your chosen hairstyle.
What hair products do you use?

Do you offer services for men and children?
Absolutely! At Braids by Praise, we welcome women, men, and children. Whether you're looking for stylish men's braids, protective hairstyles for kids, or elegant braided looks for women, our experienced stylists are dedicated to providing excellent service for every client.
Do you offer bridal and party makeup?
At this time, we specialize exclusively in professional braiding and protective hairstyles. While we do not currently offer bridal or party makeup services, we would be delighted to create a beautiful hairstyle for your wedding, special event, birthday, or any other occasion.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another client and helps us serve everyone more efficiently. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Can I bring my own hair color/product?
Yes! You're more than welcome to bring your preferred braiding hair, hair color, or hair care products if you have a specific preference. However, many of our services already include premium-quality hair. If you're unsure whether your products are suitable for your chosen style, feel free to contact us before your appointment.
How long does a typical appointment take?
The length of your appointment depends on the style, braid size, and desired length. Simpler styles may take around 1 to 2 hours, while smaller or more detailed styles can take 2 to 4 hours or longer. We'll be happy to provide an estimated appointment time when you book your service.
